A respected civic leader dedicated to advancing civil rights, expanding opportunities for youth, promoting housing equity, and strengthening community partnerships throughout the Pasadena area.

Charisse Bremond Weaver President and CEO of Brotherhood Crusade. She has led one of Los Angeles’ premier nonprofits, expanding educational, workforce development, mentoring, and youth opportunities for underserved communities.
Jan Williams Community organizer with Black Lives Matter Los Angeles and a longtime advocate for educational equity and Black student success. She has helped advance parent engagement and community leadership supporting LAUSD’s Black Student Achievement Plan while championing racial justice, public education, and community empowerment.
Senator Lola Smallwood-Cuevas California State Senator representing Senate District 28. A longtime labor and social justice leader who champions workers’ rights, economic opportunity, and policies benefiting underserved communities.
